What a liberating thought. We can be what God created us to be, relational. We don't want to go to a church where we don't know anyone. We want to belong, to feel welcome, that feeling you get when you go home and everyone is glad to see you.

Most of our lives are spent in and out of relationships, some long term, some for a short time, and to varying degrees, some personal, some professional. It's who we are. It's God's plan. There are some people we really like to be around and others we relate to only when necessary. It seems to be part of our nature to do things we like with people we enjoy being around. If that defines your approach to life, than a Small Group will be a great fit for you.

Small Groups are groups of people coming together around a common interest for two purposes; one, to build relationship with each other, and two, to build relationship with God. It is the place where you tackle the tough questions of life together, where you know that someone cares and is praying for you. Strength, security, commitment and accountability: these are the values of a Small Group.
